John Mayer on The Dynamic of A Solo

A lot of people don’t realize what a great blues player John Mayer is.  In this seminar he talks about and demonstrates the art of playing a dynamic guitar solo.  This is one of the most educational videos I have seen on the subject.  When you are improvising or playing a solo you want to take the listener on a journey, a ride so to speak.  This can be accomplished with the use of dynamics.
